In 1966, I hitchhiked across Europe from Paris to Athens and ended up on the south coast of Crete in the town of Agia Galini, where I lived for the most part of two years. During that time, I took occasional hikes along the coast to the town of Matala where there was a world community of young people living in caves by the sea.
What you have here are some of my surviving sketches from that time.
